Memorial Description
Plaque 107cm high x 76cm wide. The central plaque of white marble has a shallow pointed top, which is echoed by the black pattress. The names are listed in a single column using Roman capitals. The Biblical quotation is in lower case italics.

Notes
1. The original proposal was to dedicate an organ as a war memorial. Although a Faculty for a pipe organ had been applied for, it was never dedicated as a war memorial. The inscription states that the organ was installed in 1921 by two sisters in memory of their father. According to National Pipe Organ Register, (Ref. G00175) the organ was made and installed in 1920 by Bishop & Co.

Newcastle Daily Journal 09/04/1920 reports that faculties for pipe organ and tablet had been applied for.
