Unveiled 24th April 1920 by Canon R.R. Mangin, Rural Dean.

Memorial Description

Plaque 940mm high x 660mm wide x with cable patterned border, and a thin red line along its inner edge. The lettering is incised in Roman capitals and painted red. The names of the fallen are in a single column, and the names of those who served are in two columns.

Freestone from Robin Hood's Bay, Yorks.

Notes

1. This memorial contains names of fallen from Bolton.

2. For a similar memorial, see Doddington D13.01

3. There appear to have been some amendments.
The name "Aitcheson" seems originally to have been written "Aitchison" and then changed.
Also, J.J. Mordue may have been altered to "J.U. Mordue".
