Memorial Description

Plaque, 2 feet high x 18 inches wide on a wood frame with plain edge. The name of the school is borne on a small plaque at the top, the dedication is on a slightly larger plaque below this. The names are listed in a single column on a large plate, those who died at the top and those who served underneath. All lettering is in using Roman capitals.

Zinc in oak frame.

Notes

1. This plaque is identical in style and form to those in West Moor Council School, Killingworth K9.03 and Burradon Council School B73.02

2. At the time of the unveiling, £15/4/6d had been raised. This left a deficit of £2/10/6 plus further expenses of £3/6/6d. The deficit was cleared by Northumberland County Education Committee.
