Memorial Description
Stained glass window 272cm high x 111cm wide x of single light, depicting the Angel of the Lord appearing to Mary Magdalene outside the sepulchre after the Resurrection. Below them is the text “He is not here for he is risen” painted in gilded Roman capitals.
Below this is the dedication, set on a pennant. In the centre is a diamond shape which contains the badge of the Scots Guards. The lettering is in black Roman capitals.

Notes
1. The maker of the window was a pupil of Christopher Whall.
2. Capt. Taylor had been present in the Abbey at the Laying Up of the Colours of his Regiment in 1912.
