Plaque on oak pattress 40�cm high x 71cm wide. There is a single line border. The name is in elaborate capitals, with the initials in red. All other lettering is in sans serif capitals. The dates 1914-1919 and the words "The Great War" appear above the border in red.

Pte. Geo. Robt. Maughan, 27th N.F.
aged 22 years who was killed in action
25th April 1917 and was interred at Aubigny.
This memorial has been subscribed for
