Notes

1. The unveiling should have been performed by Lieut.Col. J.R. Ritson, who was ill.

2. The left hand window is dedicated “To the Glory of God / and in loving memory / of Ellen, beloved wife / of Frank Moss & daughter / of the late Charles / and Anne Crofton, / died April 29th 1933." The elaborate panel in which the dedication is set matches the one on the central window, and they seem to be all of a piece. But the war memorial window was apparently dedicated in 1924, nine years earlier.

3. The newspaper report carries a picture of the central window with what apparently is a bigger panel with more writing in it, which could be names. Was this altered when the other window was dedicated?
