Memorial Description

Reredos, the main part of which is 61 inches high x 84 inches long, with raised centre top which encloses a crown raised in half relief and gilded. The three main panels feature copies of three paintings. Left is Dali’s picture of Christ on the cross above the world, Centre is Sutherland’s ‘Christ in Glory’ from Coventry Cathedral and right ‘Virgin of the Rocks’ by Leonardo da Vinci. Painted on the wood somewhere, and very faint, is the dedication.


Another small plaque records the details of the memorial.
