Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, overall size 13 inches high x 16 inches wide (330 mm x 4.06 mm). The silvered inner frame is 2 inches wide, with a large blue oval stone set midway along the top and bottom. The text is printed, the dedication and the quotation being in Gothic script. The names are inside a black frame, printed in Roman upper and lower case.

In oak and silvered frame.

"Brave Sons of Boulmer / who fell in the Great War, 1914-1919.
"Till the day breaks".

Notes

1. In 1999, Fred Rough, brother to Alec Rough whose name appears on this memorial having been killed in France, was created Chevalier Member of the Legion of Honour from France for his part in the war.
