oak carving by Messrs. Bowman of Stamford;
mason work by Mr. Oliver, Bedlington.

Inscription:

In memory of the men employed by the Netherton Coal Coy who fought and died in the
Great War 1914-1918 the owners place their names here in grateful remembrance.

Memorial Description:

Roll of Honour, 36 inches high x 108 inches wide (91cms x 274cms), comprised of four panels.

Across the top is the dedication, in raised gilded Roman capitals on a sunken background.

The names are incised in four single columns using gilded Roman capitals..
