Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, 89cm high x 68cm wide, hand written, in plain wooden frame. The background border is painted pale blue, into which is inserted an elaborate design, rectangular but with semicircles at each corner, halfway down each side and on the top. Inside the top semicircle the words "The Great War" are painted in pink letters with blue initials.
The main panel bearing the inscription is painted to look like a scroll. The words "Roll of Honour" and "Beadnell Parish" are printed in pink and blue lettering. The names of the fallen are written at the top of the list, and those who served are listed in three columns. Lettering is handwritten in black or terra cotta, using Old English lettering.
