Memorial Description
Square paving slab in the format for all winners of the Victoria Cross.
It is mounted on a large block with raked top. Alongside is another plaque which carries a photo of Lieut. McKean and an account of the action in which Lieut. McKean won the Victoria Cross.
Behind it is a sculpture of six slender columns, the front one carrying a maple leaf and flowers.
