1. The memorial was unveiled in St.Hilda’s Church before being moved to its intended permanent site in the Old Boy’s Institute.

2. Hartlepool Boys' Brigade was one of the earliest to be formed in 1886

3. 2014 a new site is being looked for in "Old Hartlepool" to site this impressive memorial
