Panelling around the organ.
There is a plaque bearing the names.

Oak panelling.

Inscription

This tablet was erected to the glory of God, and in memory of those men who laid down their / lives in the Great War 1914-1919.

Notes

1. It was thought that the organ, installed in 1922 by H.S. Vincent, organ builder from Sunderland, was part of the memorial. However, it has now been established that it is the panelling around the organ which is the memorial. The fact that both organ and plaque were dedicated at the same service gives rise to confusion.
