In Tynemouth (Preston) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 465433 Sapper John Robert Crozier serving with 8th Anti-Aircraft Searchlight Section Royal Engineers who died 08/11/1918.

The headstone reads:

Sapper J.R. Crozier
died Nov. 8th 1918
in affectionate memory from
all ranks of No.8 A.A. Searchlight
Section R.E.
aged 28 years
Private J.W. Crozier. 18th D.L.I.
eldest brother of the above killed in
action in France Aug. 4th 1918 aged 32 years.

He is remembered as “Robert J. Crozier” at Tynemouth on page 8 of T36.14
