Robson, W.J., 2nd Lieut., 1917
In Gouzeaucourt New British Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Second Lieutenant William John Robson, serving with the Northumberland Hussars who died 30/11/1917.

His family farmed Snabdough and he was a relative of Graham Robson from the Hole and Helen and Kathleen Robson who now live in Bellingham. Not only was he killed but 2 of his brothers both lost a leg during the war.

He is remembered at Greystead on G21.01
