Fowler, F., Pte., 1918
In Knightsbridge Cemetery, Mesnil-Martinsart is the Commonwealth War Grave of 42537 Private Francis Fowler, serving with the East Yorkshire Regiment, who died 15/08/1919.

North Tyne Magazine, Vol.XXVIII, no.306, October 1918, page 5 reports:

“Francis Fowler, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fowler of Great Swinburne, was killed in action on the 15th August. He was only 18.”
