Pringle, T., Pte., 1918
On the Ploegsteert Memorial is the name of 21/813 Private Thomas Pringle serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 08/04/1918.

Carole Fife has provided the following.

Thomas was born in Bedlington in 1897 to John and Ann Pringle. The family lived in South Row in 1901, but in 1911 were living at 8½ Rothesay Terrace. Thomas married Mary Jane Philips in 1909. He enlisted in Bedlington and joined 21st Battalion (Tyneside Scottish) Northumberland Fusiliers, but was serving with the 23rd Battalion when he died at the Fourth Battle of Ypres.

He is remembered in Bedlington Station on B163.04
