In Bedlington (Netherton Lane) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of T/14529772 Driver John Hudspith, serving with the Royal Army Service Corps who died 29/04/1944.

The headstone reads:
In loving memory of
John
dearly beloved son of
William and Alice Hudspith,
accidentally killed on active service
April 29th 1944 aged 19 years.

Peace perfect peace.

He is remembered in Choppington on C36.01
