In Gordon Dump Cemetery, Ovillers-La Boisselle, Somme, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 6205 Private Edward Cook serving with 11th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers who died 07/07/1916.

Carole Fife has provided the following:

Edward's military records show that he was born and enlisted in Bedlington, but I can find no trace of him in census returns. His legatees were his half-sister Dorothy Willis and his half- brother James Dixon. The Enlistment Book names him as living at Murray's Yard, Bedlington.

He is remembered at Bedlington on B15.02, B15.09 and B15.26 page 27
