Albert was born in 1877 at Sheffield, the son of Lewis and Margaret of Sheffield. He was the husband of Helen of 1 Teynham Street, Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne and they had one daughter. Albert served with the Nottingham Command and was previously (19/128, Private, Northumberland Fusiliers).
