Walker, F., L/Smn., 1915
In Redoubt Cemetery, Helles is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/122 Leading Seaman Frank Walker, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Research who died 04/06/1915.

Colin Boyd has provided the following:

Frank was born on 5th May 1895. He was working as a cabinet maker living with his father, John at The Cottage, Millers Lane, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne when he enlisted in the Royal Naval Division on 11th September 1914.

Frank joined the 3rd Platoon, "A" Company of the Collingwood Battalion on 4th February 1915 and died of wounds in Gallipoli on 4th June 1915.

Frank Walker is remembered in Byker on B95.01
