In Greatham Church Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 115784 Squadron Leader William Ezekiel Allison, D.F.C. serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 28/11/1943.

Squadron leader Allison was serving with 16 OTU, and was a crew member of Wellington III X3923 which took off from Upper Heyford on a night training exercise and was involved in a mid-air collision over Oxfordshire.
