The son of George Ernest and Edith Gore of Stockton on Tees he died in North Africa on the 22nd April 1943 aged 22.He is buried in Massicault War Cemetery Tunisia Grave Reference VI.D.15
He attended Red House School, Norton Green.
His brother William Ernest also died.
