Darlington & Stockton Times South 24/01/1920 reports:
"Since the war began several handsomely carved pew heads have been given to the church in memory of the dead, and one of these relates to four of Captain William Christopher's great-great grandsons, all of whom were killed in the short space of eight weeks."
The three brothers of Captain Leonard have not yet been identified in the CWGC website.
