Rev. David Youngson has submitted the following:
The son of Thomas C. Danby of 8 Newby Terrace, Stockton–on-Tees he was born at Stockton. Records indicate that he enlisted into the Durham Light Infantry at Stockton. He was killed in action on the 19th October 1917 aged 31. He is buried in Ypres Reservoir Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, Grave Reference I.F.85.
