On Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, is the name of 16009 Private William Paisley serving with the 1st Battalion Border Regiment who died 30/07/1916.

Son of Hugh and Hannah Paisley, of The Crescent, Bog Row, Hetton-le-Hole, Co. Durham.

William Paisley, Border Regt., killed in action July 30th, 1916 in France. Parents live at 38 Barrington Terrace.
