On the Thiepval Memorial is the name of 19163 Pte. Albert Grievson, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 03/08/1916.

His death was reported in Heslop's Local Advertiser 22/9/1916:

"Private Albert Grievson, D.L.I., killed in action on August 4th, aged 21 years. Son of Ann and the late Joseph Grievson, of Albion Street, Windy Nook. "

He is remembered at Windy Nook on W95.16
