Reynoldson, J.L., A.B., 1917

In New Irish Farm Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/2074 Able Seaman John L. Reynoldson serving with the Nelson Battalion, Royal Naval Division, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 17/10/1917.

In Dipton St. John's Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:-

the beloved wife of Thomas Reynoldson
Wheatley House Dipton
who died 31 March 1918
aged 68 years
also of their son
John L. Reynoldson R.N.D.
who was killed in action in France
17 Oct. 1917 aged 27 years

he laid his life down for his friends

aged 77 years
