In order to record the sincere appreciation of all their members, for the
many years of devoted service she has rendered to the maintenance of the
Garden of Remembrance which surrounds the War Memorial.
The freshness and fragrance of its flowers have been a joy and
inspiration to all those who pass by.
To our thanks should be added those of many visitors who on leaving are
able to take away with them a memory of beauty created by the
loving care of Miss Soulsby. May 1961
