In Holy Trinity Church is a plaque bearing the following inscription:
M.S.
Shafto Craster Craster Esqr.,
Captain H.M. Eighth the King’s Regt.
Third son of
Thomas Wood Craster Esqr.
Of Craster
Who died of fever at
Kangra
British India
17th April 1856 aged 29 years.
He is buried where he died.
A tablet to his memory
Is placed in the church at
Julundur
By his brother Officers and the
Soldiers of his Company the Grenadiers
In token of their sorrowing regard.

“And now Lord, what is my hope.
Truly my hope is ever in Thee.”
