Who commissioned

The family.

1. The National Pipe Organ Register states that the organ itself was moved to Stockton Parish Church.

2. The organist at the Church, Miss Elsie Goodbody, had just taken over that role when her brother, to whom the seat is dedicated, was killed in action. She carried on as organist for 53 years until her own death in September 1994.
