Memorial Description
Stained glass window of two lights featuring St. George slaying the dragon whilst above him the archangel Michael slays the devil.
In the oculus is the badge of the Royal Air Force with the words “They shall mount up with wings as eagles”.
There is a plaque of brass 9 x 7˝ in a plain wood frame 11˝ x 9 which bears the dedication in Roman capitals.

Notes
1. Flt.Lt. Barrass was in Lancaster I bomber PD397 AS-V which took off from Kirmington in an operation on Cologne. The plane crashed in the target area. All the crew were killed except one man who became a prisoner of war.
