Memorial Description
Plaque, rectangular, with high rounded top fitting into the arcading, and moulded edge. Royal Artillery badge at centre top with two shields beneath., all in half relief and full colour. Below this is the dedication, followed by two downwards strips of ribbon on each of which is a list of 12 battle honours. Lettering is in Roman capitals.

Z Location or Survey in War The Story of the 4th Durham Survey Regiment R.A., T.A., by Lt.Col. J.T. Whetton, D.S.O., O.B.E., M.C., T.D. and Lt.Col. R.H. Ogden, M.C., T.D. was dedicated “To the men who formed and in World War II served with the Regiment and in memory of those who died for their country in battle”. It contains a Roll of Honour as Appendix 1 on Page 191. The book is in South Tyneside Central Library NZ 375676, Ref. 940.5412.
