Memorial Description
Plaque with dome at centre top. There is a border of leaves. At centre top is the regimental badge. Lettering is in upper and lower case elaborate fonts.

20th June 1918.
Erected by the Officer, Non-Commissioned
Officers and Men
of N15. Airline Section Royal Engineers,
and by his Father, Mother, Brothers and Sisters.

Notes
1. The plaque was placed just above the seat L.Cpl Heron regularly occupied in the church. It was moved when the rear of the church was reconfigured for the new extension in the 1990s.
2. L/Cpl. Heron was a member of St.John’s Church Choir.
