Memorial Description

Plaque beneath a cross, both of white marble, both surmounted on a black pattress 3 feet 2 inches high x 1 foot 10 inches wide. The cross has the “IHS” monogram at the crossing. Lettering is incised and gilded using a variety of fonts.

35 years church-warden of this parish
who died 10th November 1901
aged 65years.
and of his third son Walter,
who was killed in action
near Heinesburg 10th April 1902,
aged 29 years.
This tablet and the western most
window of this aisle
were placed by friends 1903
