Memorial Description

Plaque 26 inches high x 20 inches wide set on a wood pattress. There is a border design of diamond and circle shapes culminating in crosses in elaborate squares at each corner. The name of the church is at the top. Underneath this is a scroll bearing the words “Roll of Honour”. The names are at the bottom inside an oval wreath. Lettering is sunk in casting and blackened using sans serif capitals throughout apart from the dates which are in elaborate capitals.

“They climbed the steep ascent to Heaven / Through Sorrow, Toil and Pain”.
