Memorial Description

Organ.

Three plaques each 11 inches high x 1 foot 3 inches wide. The central one, shaped like a shield, bears the dedication. The other two, each with a pedimented top, bear the names listed in two columns on each. Lettering is in Roman lower case.

Notes

1. There were also a number of family plaques in the organ panelling.

2. Placed in the new chapel 7th April 1956 from the old village church. The chapel closed in 2007.

3 The location of the organ is not known.

4. The plaques have been remounted into a single frame by John Robson.

5. 2015 - The plaque is now in Wardley Primary School
