Memorial Description
Stained glass window of a single light, depicting St. Michael slaying a dragon.
Underneath, on the sloping windowsill is a plaque 4 inches high x 2 feet 6 inches wide which bears the inscription in Roman capitals.

To the Glory of God and in memory of Arthur Octavius Shortt
youngest son of the Revd. Edward Shortt sometime vicar of this
parish. He served his country in South Africa as a volunteer in
the Imperial Light Horse, was mortally wounded in action at Ladysmith
and fell asleep in the faith on January 24 1900, aged 24 years. R.I.P.
