Unveiled 7th November 1948 by Mr. W.R. Brayley, J.P. and dedicated by the Ven. Charles H. Ritchie, Archdeacon of Northumberland.

Memorial Description

Processional Cross 6 feet high on an oak frame 8 feet high by 2 feet 6 inches wide. The hilt of the cross is hand painted blue with silver trim. The shaft is of oak. It is fastened to the board by a steel pin. Below the pin, the dedication is carved into the backing oak frame. The names are listed in two columns, one on each side of the cross shaft, using serif capitals throughout, the lettering carved and painted blue.
