12/10/1950 dedicated by Rev. R. Stanley Troop Rector of Sunderland, unveiled by Mr C.H. Michael Sunderland Head Postmaster.

Memorial Description

Plaque 12 inches high x 24 inches wide set in a wood frame 4 inches wide below S140.25. There is a patterned border of string design culminating in a roundel in each corner containing the cipher of King George. The names are listed in three columns. Lettering is in sans serif.
