Memorial Description

Plaque curved to fit onto a pillar. There is a plain raised border. The names are listed in two columns. Lettering is in raised Roman capitals throughout.

1. “Lord Ravensworth referred to the association of Ravensworth castle and grounds with the intensive training of many men from the Stanhope district, and to his subsequent service as adjutant of the 50th Divisional Depot, which included many of the local soldiers.”
