Memorial Description

Series of four panels, each 3 feet 6 inches high x 18 inches wide, (1.06 m x 476 mm) part of the panelling in the chapel. These panels each have a shallow arched top. The names are listed in a single column on each panel under a gold cross. Lettering is incised and painted gold.

Running above these panels and the adjoining panel on either side, is a slender horizontal panel, which bears the dedication in lettering raised in Roman capitals and painted gold on a painted blue background.

Materials used

Oak, made from former seats installed when the nave was rebuilt in 1850, identified as being from the old Forest of Rothbury.
