Unveiled 21st March 1921 by Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Cllr. T.W. Rowe; dedicated by Canon Newsom.

Memorial Description

Plaque, approx. 4 feet high x 5 feet wide with pedimented top. The dedication is in a sunken panel at the top, the quotation is at the bottom, all handwritten in gold Roman capitals. The names are listed in three individual sunken upright panels, each handwritten in gold sans serif capitals.

1. The former school was located next to the Brewery.

2. Between 300-400 boys served of whom 53 fell. One former pupil won the D.C.M. and four others won the M.M.
