Chasuble, stole, and choir robes. A brass plate 4 inches high x 10 inches wide (102mm x 254mm) records the details in sans serif capitals.

The red vestments in use in this church
were donated by Mrs. V.M. Ewbank
in memory of her daughter Doris
who was killed by enemy action
while on duty as a
voluntary ambulance driver
on April 10th 1941, aged 27 years.

1. The vicar wore the stole on the day of the rededication of the memorial stone in Panama Gardens, Whitley Bay.
