Plaque 7 feet 2 inches high x 4 feet 1 inch wide x 5 inches deep. The dedication is on the central panel. The names are listed in a single column on two outer panels.

In proud and loving / remembrance of these / our friends connected / with this Church and / Sunday Schools who / fell in the Great War.

Newcastle Daily Journal 22/05/1920 reports “The proposed tablet in memory of those members of Trinity Church, Newcastle, (27 we believe) who fell in the war, will probably be erected within the next month or two”.
