This was in the old memorial hall, framed by curtains, but was transferred to the new village hall which was opened in 1999.

Memorial Description
Plaque of white marble on black pattress, 36 inches high by 30 inches wide (914 mm x 762 mm). The main part of the tablet is rectangular with an elaborate dome at centre top, within which is a laurel wreath carved in half relief. The pattress echoes this shape. The lettering is incised and painted black, using sans serif capital letters, with the quotation is in italics. The names are listed in two columns, those from 1914-18 on the left and those from 1939-45 on the right.
