Unveiled and dedicated 17th September 1921 by the Bishop of Durham.

Memorial Description

Plaque 5 feet wide, of three panels , resting on corbels. Two outer panels are 3 feet 6 inches high, the centre panel is 4 feet 4 inches high, of 14th century Gothic design, with traceried top and a canopy at centre. There are pillars at each end. The date is carved at centre top below the canopy.
The central panel has a cross at top and names of the fallen carved in two columns. The two outer panels have names of those who served carved in three panels on each. The lettering is in sans serif capitals.
There is a 9 inch deep shelf below.
