Unveiled 11th January1920 by Cllr. R. Mayne, Sheriff of Newcastle.

Memorial Description

Plaque in wood frame. There is a wide patterned border of intertwined leaves, ending in four circles containing leaves at the corners. The pattern is made by removing the background and leaving the design standing proud on a black background. The names are incised in two columns, using sans serif capitals, with the dedication in Gothic script, and the quotation in lower case Roman lettering.
