Pair of flower vases, each 19cm high x 10cm wide. Lettering is in Roman capitals, 5 mm high, engraved on the outside of each vase near the base.

2. Revd. A.A. Smith was Minister of Hexham Presbyterian Church at the time of his son's death in 1944, having also served 4 years as R.A.F. Chaplain. He left Hexham in May 1946 to serve in Thropton Presbyterian Church, returning to dedicate the vases.
