Dedicated at morning service on Sunday, 16th January 1949, by Revd. S.A. Pullen, Minister of the Church at that time.
Memorial Description
Flower bowl, top is 205 mm wide, base is 115 mm wide, and 75 mm high. Lettering is in Roman capitals, 5 mm high, engraved in the outer surface, just below the top rim.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Gibson of St. Cuthbert's Terrace, Hexham.
Notes
1. Mr. Gibson was an elder of the Hexham Presbyterian Church. The vase was given in memory of the Gibson's youngest son.
2. The flower bowl was to be for use on the Communion table.
3. Sgt. Gibson was a Hurricane IIc Pilot. He appears to have been hit by “Ground Fire”
